Nutmeg Lawyer Among the ABA Journal's Top 100 Blawgs for 2010

Too Subtle?

The Nutmeg Lawyer was pleasantly surprised to learn that it has been selected as one of the ABA Journal's Top 100 Blawgs for 2010. (You would be surprised what a fruit basket can accomplish.)This year's annual list will appear in the December issue of the magazine and includes 12 categories including Court Watch, Torts, and IP Law. The Nutmeg Lawyer was selected for the IMHO category.  (Seriously. That was the category. Think of the Oscar for Best Film going to other legal blawgs, while we were nominated for the equivalent of Best Key Grip in a Foreign Documentary) Of course, the Nutmeg Lawyer is also up for the popular vote. You can vote for your favorite blog by clicking here and voting by December 30th.   All kidding aside, it was a nice surprise.  My sincerest thanks to everyone who voted for this blawg. Any day you get a nod from the ABA Journal is a good day.

Of course, we understand that this honor brings great responsibility and prestige upon the winner. As such, we would like to assure our readers that this honor will not go to our heads except for the fact that we will now only refer to ourselves in the royal "we" even though this blog is written by one person.
