How Do You Say "Live Long and Prosper" in Yiddish? Nutmeg Lawyer Now Available in Over 50 Languages.

If you watched the original Star Trek, you may recall that in episode #2267 Captain Kirk used a handheld translator to communicate with the Companion, a noncorporeal, cloudlike entity who discovered famed scientist Zefram Cochrane, drifting in space, and brought him to her planetoid in the distant Gamma Canaris region. Admittedly, I did not know this information.  I stumbled across it searching for "translators".  If you did know this, you are a nerd.  Besides, everyone knows the cool kids watched Star Wars.  But I digress....

Give Your Blog or Website An International Flair. After noticing an influx of readers from other countries.  (Editors note: Shout out to Sven and Gunter) I decided to add a translator application to my blog.   I settled on Google Translate, a free translation service that can translate approximately 57 different languages. According to Google " when Google Translate generates a translation, it looks for patterns in hundreds of millions of documents to help decide on the best translation for you. By detecting patterns in documents that have already been translated by human translators, Google Translate can make intelligent guesses as to what an appropriate translation should be"

If you happen to be fluent in any of these languages, I would appreciate some input into the quality of the translation.  Keep in mind that some of the inner complexities of my writings cannot be easily translated into another language much as the abject beauty of a sunset cannot be fully captured on a painter's canvas. We plan to add this application to our law firm's website as well. If you wish to add Google Translator to your own webpage or blog just follow this link.
