Vote Baron. What's the Worst that Could Happen?

I would like to thank my readers for the many kind emails regarding my whereabouts.  The rumors are not true.  I was not abducted by aliens or a cabal of English teachers hell bent on removing me from the blogosphere as a result of my penchant for grammatical mistakes. Like many lawyers, I have been bitten by the political bug.  I am happy to report that I am now officially a politician.

Believe it or not, I was asked to join the "slate" of several candidates running for the position of mayor in New Britain.  Apparently, thirty percent of the voters in New Britain are Polish.  Not surprisingly, a Polish speaking attorney fit the bill.  As such, I am now officially a candidate for the New Britain City Council.  If elected, I will be an Alderman representing Ward 3.  I must now find a Treasurer, a campaign manager and begin working on what issues matter to voters. My first act will be to declare war on neighboring Berlin, Connecticut.  I also plan to pass a city ordinance requiring residents to wear cowboy hats on Thursdays with an obligatory "Howdy Pardner" when greeting people.

As I embark on the campaign trail of local politics, I hope to share the experience with you.

Paid for and approved by Adrian M. Baron.
